Let's Catch Up!

Let's Catch Up!

Hi everyone!

It's time for a much-needed life update!

Instead of committing to posting a new blog every week, I've decided I'm just going to write when it feels right. 😂 So bear with me—I know it's definitely been a minute since we've caught up! And who knows when the next time I will pop up here! (Unless you are an exclusive letter club member, then I am sending out letters once a month)

Since the last time we talked... WE'RE HAVING A BABY! 🤍

You may have already seen our announcement on social media, but just in case you missed it, our sweet baby boy is set to arrive around Christmas! We are absolutely over the moon and overflowing with joy. I truly don't think words could ever describe how excited we are to meet him. We’ve still got a ways to go, but we are just SO ready!

Now that I'm finally starting to feel like myself again, I'm slowly getting back to doing the things I love... things that don't just involve sleeping. 😂

To be completely honest, my first trimester was hard. Like really hard!

I found out I was pregnant incredibly early, which meant those first few months felt like they lasted forever. Between the constant nausea, the exhaustion, and just feeling unlike myself, there were days when I honestly felt like all I could do was survive. And some days, I am pretty sure that really is all I did!  I felt lonely at times, completely drained, and like my body had become someone else's overnight. It was the most insane feeling ever! Accepting the fact that my body was truly no longer mine anymore and now everything I do is with another human in mind!

If you've experienced the first trimester before, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about. It can truly feel like it's draining the life out of you.

Even now, I still deal with pregnancy symptoms every single day, but they feel so much more manageable. Instead of just surviving, I finally feel like I'm living again. I'm finding my energy, enjoying this season, and getting excited to prepare for our little boy.

We officially hit the halfway point of pregnancy, and it's wild to think that in just a few short months, we'll finally get to hold him in our arms. Every little flutter, every doctor's appointment, and every tiny milestone makes this all feel more and more real.

This season has been stretching me in so many ways, but it has also reminded me to slow down, embrace change, and soak in every moment—even the hard ones.

And honestly... I wouldn't trade it for the world!
